What functions can an "EEPC Authorised Administrator" perform?

If your company is using the McAfee Endpoint Encryption (Safeboot) Managed Service from DPMS2 (Logicalis) you can request that a member of staff (and others) can be nominated as an "EEPC Authorised Administrator" (Admin)

An authorised administrator is a person who is known to us by name, email address and phone number on our systems at Logicalis– volunteered by another Authorised Administrator.

Follows is a list of privileges that pertain to an EEPC Authorised Administrator:

Privilege Method of Action
Create a user account Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Delete a user account Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Request a password reset for a user Can be requested via email or over the phone. Logicalis will then phone the user in question
Rename a user Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Rename a machine Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Delete a machine Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Move a machine into a machine group Can be requested via email or over the phone
Request the “Daily Code” Can be requested via email or over the phone
Perform various “WinTech/SafeTech” low-level recovery operations Depending on the engineers skill set either autonomously or via guidance from Logicalis over the telephone or email
Request various reports Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Request Admin-level functionality for other “Admins” Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Encrypt machines Can be requested via email or over the phone
Decrypt machines Can be requested via email or over the phone
Create Groups machine Requested by email and confirmed by return when completed by Logicalis
Create installation sets Can be requested via email or over the phone
Direct access to 2nd and 3rd level support at Logicalis  

Logicalis also reserves the right to confirm the instructions with another member of staff if they deem it necessary.

Requests that are made to Logicalis directly by end-users will be “authorised” by a relevant “Admin” – contacted by Logicalis over email or telephone call.
